Every employer performing work covered by the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act or the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) is required to post a notice regarding compensation requirements. Required for general contractors and subcontractors that have government contracts in excess $2,500 and for manufacturing contractors who handle or ship goods under contracts exceeding $10,000. Failure to comply with the posting requirements or implementing regulations may result in the termination of the contract and possible debarment from future government contracts for a period of up to three years. Every employer performing work covered by the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act or the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) is required to post a notice of the compensation required (the Employee Rights in Government Contracts Poster) in a prominent and accessible location at the worksite where it may be seen by all employees performing on the contract. |
