Notice requirements under USERRA took effect March 2005.

All employers must notify past, present, and future members of the uniformed services in writing about their rights and obligations under USERRA.

Failure to abide by the provisions of USERRA including notice and anti-discrimination rules, can result in enforcement action against your company by the Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS), and the U.S. Department of Labor.
