Ohio Minimum Wage Notification Requires Updating by Jan. 1, 2009; Personnel Concepts Has Updated PanelONTARIO, Calif.—Personnel Concepts, the pioneer in the labor law compliance poster industry, advises employers that the Ohio minimum wage will rise on Jan. 1, 2009, and posting of the new wage notification is mandatory. Effective Jan, 1, the minimum wage will increase from $7.00 to $7.30 per hour for non-tipped employees and from $3.50 to $3.65 for tipped employees. (For employers who gross $267,000 or less, their payable minimum wage will follow federal standards, currently $6.55 but going up to $7.25 next July.)
