Personnel Concepts Advises Employers to Check That All Mandated Labor Law Posters Are Current

Jul 22, 2009

ONTARIO, Calif.—Personnel Concepts, pacesetter in the labor law compliance industry, advises employers to use the occasion of the July 24 federal minimum wage hike to survey their mandated labor law posters and other notification instruments to ensure that all are current.

Many states are raising their minimum wage at the same time, so it’s not enough to have just the new federal rate posted. "Not all these changes require break room postings, but they do impose notification and record-keeping requirements that are both time-consuming and essential," said Robert Leland, director of research for Personnel Concepts. “This is a good time to survey what’s in place and make sure every policy and procedure is in compliance.
