Various OSHA standards require employers to notify employees about their rights and responsibilities with regard to certain workplace hazards. For example, OSHA's Access to Medical and Exposure Records standard (29 CFR 1910.1020) requires employers to inform workers of their right to request copies of their medical records and toxic exposure records.
