Emergency Evacuation SystemOSHA requires all employers to create an emergency action plan that includes evaculation systemsItem #:EVAC-L
Description
All employers must develop and implement an Emergency Action Plan and a Fire Prevention Program if they require employees to evacuate during a fire or other emergency. Businesses with 11 or more employees must maintain the plans in writing as required by 29 CFR 1910.38. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, and Fire Prevention Plans standards (29 CFR 1910.36 through 1910.39) require all businesses to implement an emergency action plan and maintain unobstructed emergency exit routes. A vital aspect of this mandatory emergency evacuation plan is a workplace evacuation map that clearly displays escape routes and indicates the location of first aid kits and fire extinguishers. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in fines up to $7,000 per violation! Hiring a private map service to customize an evacuation map of your facility could cost hundreds of dollars. Fortunately, Personnel Concepts has developed a solution designed to keep your business in total compliance with OSHA's Emergency Action Planning standards at one low cost, the Emergency/Evacuation System™. Our Emergency/Evacuation System allows you to easily implement an emergency action plan and customize an evacuation map specific to your facility - keeping you in compliance for a fraction of the cost of hiring outside consultants and map services.
