Delaware Minimum Wage Going Up July 24; Personnel Concepts Updates Its Labor Law Poster to Match
Personnel Concepts to provide updated panel for labor law poster compliance subscribers
Jul 22, 2009
ONTARIO, Calif.—Moving to match the new federal minimum wage of $7.25 that takes effect July 24, Delaware has increased its minimum wage from $7.15 to the federal level effective the same day, Personnel Concepts advises employers in the state.
Minimum wage posters will need to reflect the state’s new rate, and Personnel Concepts has already updated its Delaware Space Saver-1 All-On-One State and Federal Labor Law poster and created a wage panel replacement for current holders of the Delaware labor law poster. Panel replacements will be provided automatically to subscribers and are available for purchase as well.
"In all, some 22 states are moving to match the new federal rate, though most incorporated the change last year or earlier this year," said Robert Leland, director of research for Personnel Concepts. “Still, if your business is in one of the affected states, you will need to display the new wage poster.”
