Rhode Island Issues 2014 Minimum Wage Poster
Dec 6, 2013
The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training has released updated “Minimum Wage” and “Unemployment Insurance” notices.
Effective Jan.1, 2014, the minimum wage in the state of Rhode Island will increase from $7.75 per hour to $8 per hour. The 25-cent increase is a result of recent state legislation and does not reflect any future increases. Effective immediately, the Unemployment Insurance panel was revised to include guidance to determine who is eligible for Temporary Caregiver Insurance Benefits.
These notices are available as individual panels and also appear on the Rhode Island labor law posters. Subscribers will receive updates in the mail and via email. Others should call Customer Service at (800) 333-3795 to inquire about obtaining copies.
